Pickup trucks are built to carry cargo in an open bed which makes loading and unloading easy. However, open pickup beds also invite those with thieving hands and reduce fuel efficiency through wind drag. Some owners combat the security issue by placing shells over the bed that flows from a position near the cab to the rear of the bed. Others opt for a tonneau cover that lies flat across the bed which not only provides security but enhances fuel mileage as well.

The tonneau cover hooks over every side of the pickup bed. Secured by screws or clamps, the cover is often of a solid material with the capability of folding back to easily reveal the bed and allow loading and unloading. The flat surface hides your possessions and reduces wind drag.

At Pensacola Honda, our technicians are trained in tonneau cover installation techniques.
