Concept cars are just one way that automakers showcase and gauge the interest in upcoming design elements. When it comes to Honda, however, their prototypes are usually a lot closer to production than other automakers. So when we saw the unexpected Civic Concept at the New York Auto Show, we got stoked.
If you haven't heard, a tenth generation Civic is in the works, expected to drop into dealerships this autumn. The Civic Concept is but a demonstration on how the new sedan, coupe, hatchback, and even Type R (currently only available in Europe) will look. While this forebear is more stylized than the production car, its body lines and front end will definitely make it into production.
