Safely Packing Your SUV for a Road Trip Takes Practice

It doesn't matter whether you're a seasoned traveler or someone who is traveling for the first time, if you're choosing the roadways, safety is still your number one priority. There are usually temptations to over-pack an SUV and that should be completely avoided. Instead of waiting until the day of your road trip, practice packing your luggage and cargo the day before to get an idea of how much space is needed.

If you're using a luggage rack, do not allow anything to hang over the sides. There should never be any luggage that obstructs the driver's view, even just a little bit. After packing your SUV or wagon, everyone should have the same type of comfort they would have if there weren't any luggage at all.

Contact Pensacola Honda to have your vehicle serviced before your next road trip, or anytime it's needed. Appointments can be made online using our service scheduler.
